Telephone Line Sharing Device - Telephone & Communication - Phone Line Sharing Device

A line-sharing device is designed to allow devices like a fax machine or a TTY to share the same line as your telephone. If you have DSL on your computer you're already sharing your telephone line, but the information is being transmitted concurrently using different parts of the fiber optics. Fax machines and TTYs use the same frequency as your telephone, which is why you need to install a line-sharing device to detect and route the calls. So you or your caller can talk for a few minutes, push three keys, and transfer the call to your fax machine to receive a document.
