The Belkin Fiber Video Extenders (F1DN001X and F1DN002X) are by far the most advanced video extenders on the market conveying reliable, high-quality video/data over long distances without compromising security.F1DN002X owns HDMI video port supporting 4K-2K UHD resolutions, while F1DN001X owns DVI-D video port supporting HD resolutions. Both extenders use a single strand OM4 Multimode SC to SC fiber cable to extend high-quality video, 10/100 LAN, RS232 and IR to a distance of up to one kilometer without latency or data loss. The Belkin F1DN001X & F1DN002X are extremely low on power consumption using either power over USB on the TX side or an efficient 5V wall-mounted power supply on the RX side.The extenders' LAN port is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3-2005 and 10BASE-T/100BASE-T for extending TCP-based devices to up to one kilometer; they can be used for both IR traffic for remote control and serial RS232 communication via USB on the TX side.Video displays or user desktops can be placed where viewing or interaction is required, while the corresponding source equipment is installed safely in a remote location, without interfering with daily work and operations.
