Dimmers are devices used to vary the brightness of a light. By decreasing or increasing the RMS voltage and hence the mean power to the lamp it is possible to vary the intensity of the light output. Dimmers are available for dimming of all types light sources; be it incandescent, fluorescent with electronic ballast or VLV halogen. They are compact devices and can be fitted inside distribution boards along with other modular devices to control the lighting output as per users need.
